| About the Tour |

Bike to the heart of the Champlain Islands with Vermont Farm Tours during the fourth annual Open Farm and Studio Weekend. Choose between a 10, 24, or 35-mile route to explore a variety of island farms, art studios, and vineyards. Registration opens @ 9am, tour begins @ 10am.
All routes include a mix of lakeside views and scenic back roads. Wide shoulders on most paved stretches, dirt roads, and mild hills make for unmatched cycling. There will be plenty of places to fill your water bottle, rest, and sample local eats along the route.
Need a bike? Rentals available at Allenholm Farm. Ask about delivery to Snow Farm Vineyard.
Lunch
Pre-order your picnic lunch (a homemade flatbread wrap, savory side, and drink, $13) from Vermont Sandwich Garden. Order online or call Jennifer (802) 372 - 9769.
Other lunch options are Wally's Place Bagel & Deli and the Champlain Islands Farmers Market.
Keeping it Local
Vermont Farm Tours is donating 10% of the total proceeds from the Heart of the Islands Bike Tour to Local Motion, a member-supported non-profit organization forging a culture of active transportation and recreation in northwestern VT. We are also working with Native Energy to make the event carbon neutral!
